Correction
Austin was kind to message me and correct himself as it wasn’t a Texas Senator but a Pastor who said that awful thing about gays. Pastor Dillon Awes of Stedfast Baptist Church said this in a speech he gave to his congregation about Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community and apparently there were cheers when he was done. It is disheartening and sickening.
