The Last Dance
In case you didn’t know, “The Last Dance”, is the name of the Michael Jordan Documentary that is streaming on Netflix and aired on ESPN. People LOVE it.
When did Plastic Surgery Start?
Well, according to the Wiki, the idea of this was first mentioned in ” Edwin Smith Papyrus,[6] a transcription of an Ancient Egyptian medical text, one of the oldest known surgical treatises, dated to the Old Kingdom from 3000 to 2500 BC” WHAT?!! I really thought this was a modern era thing. Like, within the last 100 years. That is crazy.
The Knick
So when talking about the show, I am talking about episode 3 where Abbie shows up. She lost most of her nose as the result of syphilis and they are performing a skin graft.
Lobotamy
So I was wrong when I mentioned this but maybe not… As what I found was that “by the late 1970s, the practice of lobotomy had generally ceased…” So who really knows? I hope it has stopped completely cuz it is horrible.
Michael Caine Film
So I kept looking to find out what this movie was. But I can’t seem to find the info plus going past page 1 on google seems pointless. But based on pics of scenes from The Ipcress File (1965), Josh may be correct but I have not been able to confirm that. Anyways, the fake movie in Death Becomes Her is called “Dark Windows.”
Forest Gump
The Novel was written by Winston Groom and the sequel novel is called “Gump & Co.” which was released in 1995. Also, I am not sure where I heard that is was pseudo-autobiographical but from what I found it isn’t. So the whole meta thing about him becoming famous and stuff wouldn’t be part of this I am assuming.
Steve Zahn
The movie I couldn’t remember that stars him and Justin Long is called Strange Wilderness.

So after looking this up, there was reference to a drug and a smoothie place but I think this may be reference to the urbandictionary definition.
