Freudian Stages
I was referring to Freud’s stages of psychological development. There are 5 stages in his theory oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. The one I was specifically referencing was the anal stage where he stated during this stage a child derives great pleasure from defecating. This also reminds us about how weird Freud was.
