In this episode Julian Spillane joined me in talking about one of the best trilogies ever made The Back to the Future Trilogy.
We talk about so much stuff! Time paradoxes, Doc Brown’s age, the movie’s game like make up, abuses of power, the greatness of Huey Lewis and the News, misogyny, 80’s cartoons, killing Hitler, Rocky, and so much more.
Also, just a side note, I kept a like 1 minute segment in there that I would have usually cut out but I thought it a fun little bit of convo to keep. It just flowed so well. But you do get to hear me pour drinks and dig through my fridge soooooooooooooo you’ll like it.

Cost of a Delorean
So the Delorean was manufactured in the US between 1981 and 1983 costing $25,000USD at the time. So using an inflation calculator that translates to $69,520.35 now. That is an expensive car.

3D movie start / Matinee Movie
According to Wikipedia, the first 3D film was in 1922 with The Power of Love. Which surprisingly can be thought of referenced in Back to the Future as it is the name of the Huey Lewis song. But the “golden age” of 3D film was 1952-1954 which, though it would have been on the out at the time, it fits into the time period, 1955, and why that there would be someone who is still into it.
The movie I was making reference to was Matinee staring John Goodman. I recommend it.
Transmetropolitan
