Conversation Hearts

These kitschy Valentines favourites have been around since 1901 but the company who made them, Necco, filed for bankruptcy in 2018 making the candies unavailable last year.  But the company was bought by  Spangler Candy Company and the candies have returned just in time to add more sugar to an already sweet holiday.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

The movie, released in 2003,  was based on the well received Alan Moore comic series of the same name.

Black Mirror

The Episode I watched was S4E1 “USS Callister”

The episode Austin recommends is S3E4 “San Junipero “

Love Death and Robots

Sorry, I misspoke it is not “Love Sex and Robots” but “Love Death and Robots”.

There are 18 episodes in the first season and here are my faves

E2 – “3 Robots”
E6 – “When the Yogurt Took Over”
E14 – “Zima Blue”
E17 – “Alternate Histories”

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

The movie based on a book of the same title by John Berendt came out in 1997, 23 years ago. I mean it was later than I thought but it still makes me feel old!
